We specialise in the design, supply and installation of precast concrete floors and stairs for a vast range of nationwide clients.
Operating from our office and yard near the New Forest, our flexibility allows us to offer a quick turnaround on quotes and layout drawings. Delivery lead times are also excellent and suitable for most build programs, even when time scales are short.

Hollowcore is mainly used in larger industrial and commercial developments due to its sound, load bearing and insulation properties. Units are built to order from schedules created by our design team using your specifications and plans.
Quotes will be written up based on your information, with working drawings available following your acceptance - please refer to our services for more information about design, supply and installation.

We use two processes to determine requirements dependent on the material you are working with. For the majority of Beam and Block jobs we will draft a free layout/design in order to create a quote, although this is not always necessary. With Hollowcore and Staircases we will issue an initial pricing schedule using standard product calculations and the area of your floor. When this quote is accepted we will create working drawings in AutoCAD that can be used to manufacture the slabs or stairs.
Su-Fix was started in 2001 by Jamie Jewell and Tom Woodyatt, carrying out Beam and Block design work as well as operating a gravel pit in Landford. In 2003 focus on supply and installation of floor beams increased, with Tom dealing with the day-to-day running of the office and Jamie taking responsibility for fixing on site during the day and completing designs and quotes in the evenings and weekends.
From 2004 to 2005 we migrated from a lean-to at Jamie's house to the New Forest Enterprise Centre, then onto an office on Rumbridge Street in Totton. This period also saw Tom's retirement and succession by Jamie's wife Amanda.
By 2006 the need for larger premises resulted in the purchase of our current home, an old ice cream factory at the end of Brokenford Lane, also in Totton. This was converted into an office and yard, allowing us to further develop our workforce and scope of operations.
The past 11 years have seen success and growth thanks to our commitment to our clients, which has allowed us to get involved in various local and national causes by sponsoring football, rugby, wheelchair rugby and karate clubs and events. With Mark Jauncey and Adam Smith joining the Jewells on the Board of Directors, and an expanded range of products and services including Hollowcore Slab, Staircases and our own mobile crane, we are confident in our ability to provide our customers with a complete concrete flooring service.
